International symposium

In July 2025, the Centre Cezannien de Recherche et de Documentation (CCRD), led by the Société Paul Cezanne, will move into the Jas de Bouffan farmhouse with the support of the City of Aix-en-Provence. 

Responsible for managing the catalogue raisonné, this research center will be entirely devoted to documenting and promoting the works of Paul Cezanne.

From September 24th to 28th 2025, the Société Paul Cezanne will hold it’s inaugural symposium, “Odyssée Cezanne” in the new auditorium at Jas de Bouffan: 
After his death, Cezanne was often forgotten in his homeland. He gained international recognition in the major European capitals and the United States. This odyssey led to his works being seen and studied around the globe.

Thanks to the participation of several curators, historians and art historians from various international institutions, it will be possible to retrace this odyssey, analysing the study and dissemination of Cezanne's works in different countries and in other artistic disciplines.
