Opening hours and admissions
The Musée Granet is currently closed. Granet XXth, Jean Planque collection (Pénitents blancs chapel) reopens on 21 October. The museum reopens at the Saint-Jean de Malte site on 4 November at 12 noon.
The museum is strictly applying the security measures decided by the French authorities.
The Vigipirate plan has been stepped up to "Urgence Attentat" level.
It is advised not to come with backpacks. Voluminous luggage and bags will not be accepted.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and delay which may be caused by the extra security checks at the entrance.
Opening hours
From 21 October 2025 (Granet XXth only)
Open Tuesday to Sunday from noon to 6pm.
Closing of the cash desks at 5.30 pm (evacuation of rooms from 5:45 p.m)
Weekly closure on Mondays.
Annual closure on 1st January, 1st May and 25 December.
The musée Granet, place Saint-Jean de Malte, is closed until 3 November inclusive.

Admission fees
The Granet Museum is currently closed.
Granet XXe (Chapel of the White Penitents) will reopen on 21 October and admission will be free until 2 November inclusive.
The museum will fully reopen on Tuesday 4 November at 12 noon.
Including access Granet XXe (collection Jean Planque) site.
Free admission on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Full admission : €6,50
Reduced admission : €5,50, apprentices up to 25 years old, people with disabilities and their carer, group purchases (minimum 15 tickets).
Free: under 18s, students under 26, , members of Icom, Icomos, AGCCPF, journalists, regional, national and international lecturers, members of the Amis du musée Granet, members of the Maison des artistes, subscribers to the musée Granet, teachers at the École Supérieure d'Art d’Aix-en-Provence.
To qualify for reduced and free admission you must present a current proof of status.
