The museum is strictly applying the security measures decided by the French authorities.
The Vigipirate plan has been stepped up to "Urgence Attentat" level.
It is advised not to come with backpacks. Voluminous luggage and bags will not be accepted.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and delay which may be caused by the extra security checks at the entrance.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from noon to 6pm.
Closing of the cash desks at 5.30 pm (evacuation of rooms from 5:45 p.m)
Weekly closure on Mondays.
Annual closure on 1st January, 1st May, and 25 December.

Please note!
- Until 1st March 2026, access to the Granet XXe site, Jean Planque collection (Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs) is included in the Musée Granet admission fee. Following the departure of the Planque collection, Granet XXe will be closed until April 10, 2026.
- From April 11, 2026, when Granet XXe reopens for the Kosta Alex. Coup de chapeau exhibition, admission fees to the Musée Granet, Place Saint-Jean de Malte, and admission fees to Granet XXe, Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs, will be separate. Admission to the Musée Granet will no longer include access to the Granet Museum, Place Saint-Jean de Malte, and vice versa.
ADMISSION FEES FOR THE MUSÉE GRANET, PLACE SAINT-JEAN DE MALTE
Free entry on Sundays 1st March 1, 5 April, 3 May and 7 June, 2026.

Reduced price: €6, apprentices up to 25 years old, companions of a person holding a mobility inclusion card (CMI) without the mention “Need for accompaniment,” for bulk purchases of 15 or more paid admissions, teachers holding a Pass Éducation card.
Free admission: under 18s, students under 26, long-term job seekers (6 months or more), RSA recipients (upon presentation of proof dated within the last 3 months), social assistance recipients (CAF), minimum old age and disability pension recipients, holders of the mobility inclusion card (CMI) if the CMI card states “Need for assistance” (free admission for one accompanying person), holders of the Ministry of Culture card (and one accompanying person), members of Icom, Icomos, AGCCPF, press card holders (and one accompanying person), approved regional, national, and international tour guides, members of the Association des Amis et des Jeunes Amis du Musée Granet, members of the Association Maison des Artistes (card or URSAFF Limousin), Musée Granet subscribers, teachers at the École Supérieure d'Art d'Aix-en-Provence.

Granet XXe, Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs is free to enter on Sundays, May 3 and June 7, 2026.

* The right to speak in national museums, French museums and historic monuments is granted, in accordance with the provisions of Article L.221-1 of the Tourism Code and Decree No. 2011-930 of 1 August 2011 relating to persons qualified to conduct guided tours, to the following categories of persons:
- tour guides holding the professional licence provided for in Article L.221-1 of the Tourism Code,
- lecturers at national museums,
- French or foreign museum curators holding a professional licence,
- lecturers at the Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN),
- teachers, within the framework of their educational duties.
