Opening hours and admissions
The museum is strictly applying the security measures decided by the French authorities.
The Vigipirate plan has been stepped up to "Urgence Attentat" level.
It is advised not to come with backpacks. Voluminous luggage and bags will not be accepted.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and delay which may be caused by the extra security checks at the entrance.
Opening hours
Until June 2026
Open Tuesday to Sunday from noon to 6pm.
Closing of the cash desks at 5.30 pm (evacuation of rooms from 5:45 p.m)
Weekly closure on Mondays.
Annual closure on 1st January, 1st May, and 25 December.

Admission fees
Including access Granet XXe (collection Jean Planque) site.
Free admission on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Full admission : €7
Reduced admission : €6, apprentices up to 25 years old, people with disabilities and their carer, group purchases (minimum 15 tickets).
Free: under 18s, students under 26, members of Icom, Icomos, AGCCPF, journalists, regional, national and international lecturers, members of the Amis du musée Granet, members of the Maison des artistes (carte ou URSAFF Limousin), subscribers to the musée Granet, teachers at the École Supérieure d'Art d’Aix-en-Provence.
To qualify for reduced and free admission you must present a current proof of status.

> 1-hour tour with a museum guide: €80/group
> tour with an external guide (speaking rights*): €40/group: package including slot reservation and/or audio guide hire (compulsory for guided tours).

* The right to speak in national museums, French museums and historic monuments is granted, in accordance with the provisions of Article L.221-1 of the Tourism Code and Decree No. 2011-930 of 1 August 2011 relating to persons qualified to conduct guided tours, to the following categories of persons:
- tour guides holding the professional licence provided for in Article L.221-1 of the Tourism Code,
- lecturers at national museums,
- French or foreign museum curators holding a professional licence,
- lecturers at the Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN),
- teachers, within the framework of their educational duties.
Individuals workshops or discovery tour

- Individuals workshops, 1½ hours: €8
- Individuals workshops, 2 hours (minimum 10 people): €10
