FROM PICASSO TO DUBUFFET

Location: Granet XXth, the Jean Planque collection, chapelle des Pénitents blancs (top of the street of Maréchal Joffre).
Among the works of great artists gathered by the Swiss collector Jean Planque throughout his life, two famous names emerge: Pablo Picasso and Jean Dubuffet. This tour is an opportunity to discover some of the masterpieces of these artists while evoking the history of friendship that linked Planque to these artists.

30 ans après l'incendie qui a ravagé la Sainte-Victoire, le musée rend hommage à ce site emblématique et donne à voir comment Constantin, Granet, Loubon, Grésy, Guigou, mais aussi Picasso, Masson, Tal Coat et Plossu ont été inspirés par ce site et ce motif hors-norme.

FABIENNE VERDIER ON THE LANDS OF CéZANNE

The musée Granet presents for the first time in France a masterly set of paintings and drawings that trace in fifty works the path of the contemporary artist Fabienne Verdier.

This visit allows visitors to grasp the evolution of her work, her years of training in China, her work around Western painting (from Flemish Primitives to Abstract Expressionism) to his exceptional work on the lands of Cézanne in 2018.
